MARK TWAIN TALKS: Welcome

logo3

Long before he had white hair and wore his famous white suit, Mark Twain was touring the country - and the world - entertaining packed houses every evening with his wit, wisdom, and musery. These shows are based on those live performances and have entertained audiences aged 10 to 100.

Twain's humorous, wise, and slightly irreverent counsel is as needed today as it was then....... perhaps more.

We currently offer four shows that run 45-60 minutes each -

"Advice to Humanity" - Instructions to help build characters in the proper way, including good advice on the subjects of lying and swearing..

"Advice to Youth" - The above show tailored for a youthful audience. Contains the "Jumping Frog" story.

"Hannibal Years" - "This is my tale - and some of it is true." Twain's experiences growing up on the banks of the Mississippi and the real people behind the characters in 'Tom Sawyer.

"Notes on the Damned Human Race" - 'The whole thing began with Adam and Eve, of course.' Starting at the beginning, Twain dissects the race's idiosyncracies, foibles, and pettifoggings, and ends up loving it anyway.

And the full show "Mark Twain Talks", two acts with intermission, which includes stories, advice, anecdotes, and as much truth as we feel it is safe to include. ________________________________________
